Dear Friends, 

     It is easy to get overwhelmed this time of year with reminders and messages and To Do lists.  

     However, one thing that I believe you can do that will help you, help your children and help our County is "putting Vote for Cheryl Landis for School Board District 5 on your To Do list for the new year".  

     Cheryl has over 36 years of experience as a community organizer, activist and volunteer much of it involving the school system and its clients, our children.  She worked for the Board of Education for over 17 years, currently works for the Excellence in Education Foundation and holds positions in several other capacities which strengthen the relationship between business partners and the school system.  Cheryl has set her goals as academic excellence, full funding of public education, family and community engagement, safe and supportive environments, a high performing workforce and organizational effectiveness.  I have faith that her excellent track record of performance in the education field shows she can achieve these goals and more. 

     I believe a vote for Cheryl Landis is a vote towards better schools,  better communication and a better Prince George's.  I hope you share my enthusiasm for Cheryl and vote for her for District 5 School Board in April.
