Farewell Dawn and Welcome Halin!

Congratulations to all our graduates!  We hope everyone has a wonderful summer.

We send a special goodbye to our senior s
tudent worker, Dawn . We will miss you very much in our office and on Boston College's campus, but we wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors! Thank you for everything you've done for OISS.

"Working at OISS is one of the most memorable experiences I have on the heights. As an international student myself, I am very proud to be part of the OISS family and serving many sisters and brothers from different parts of the world. Much love to my dearest people at OISS. The memories we share together will not graduate from my mind." --Dawn

Thank you to all those who participated in the 2014-2015 program!

We'll see you at the End of the Year Luncheon!!
Please make sure you fill out the evaluation before coming!
International Assistant Events

Easter Egg Coloring Social

A group of international students and international assistants (IAs) practiced the art of dyeing eggs on Monday, March 30th. For many this wa s their first experience coloring eggs, a spring tradition in the U.S. Chocolate candies and other desserts were also enjoyed by all.  This was the last official IA event of the year, although many IAs plan various activities with international students throughout the remainder of the semester.
Spouses and Families Spring Events

Spring Egg Hunt
On April 16th, OISS collaborated with Graduate Student to organize a spring event at Murray House. Students and scholars with their families learned how to dye eggs in different colors. Afterwards, the children raced to find eggs filled with candies and little toys that had been hidden  throughout the lawn of Murray House. We had a wonderful closing program to the semester and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather!

Children's Music Group
This semester the family members of international students and scholars decided to hold a music group for children under five ye ars old. Along with the help from an undergrad student named Xiaoxiao, the spouse Mahtab taught the children songs to practice their English.
