Royal River Heat Pumps - Heat Pump Rebates
132 US Rout 1, Freeport - 400-4065
Thank you to all who attended the Royal River Heat Pumps business after hours on February 9. While everyone attended is a homeowner, they are also business owners/managers, and Efficiency Maine offers fantastic rebates to both for installing heat pumps. Mitsubishi Electric Hyper-Heat Heat Pumps, which make up the very large part of our business, qualify homeowners for a $500 rebate from Efficiency Maine. Even better, commercial properties that install heat pumps qualify for a minimum of $500-$1,250 PER UNIT, where the homeowner is allowed one $500 rebate no matter how many units are installed. That's great incentive to make your home and business much more energy efficient heating and cooling the space!

Freeport Community Services (FCS) is proud to host its 12th annual Freeze Out event. FCS staff, board members and volunteers are outside in downtown Freeport for 12 hours, raising awareness of the poverty and hunger here in Maine, and the critical need for services for the most vulnerable residents of Freeport and Pownal. They collect non-perishable food and personal care items, as well as financial gifts, during this event.
Saturday, February 20, 2016, from at 10 am until 10 pm. Event will be kicked off with a performance by the Maine Public Safety Pipe and Drum Band on the lawn of the First Parish Church at 40 Main St, Freeport.
Donations of non-perishable food and financial gifts may be made at 40 Main Street, Freeport (on the lawn of the First Parish Church Congregational, Freeport, ME), in locations throughout downtown Freeport, and at the "Stuff the Bus" event at Shaw's Supermarket (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Your gift will support vital programs for Freeport and Pownal residents, such as the food pantry, fuel assistance, and emergency services. Your help truly makes a difference for our most vulnerable residents.
