REGISTERING FOR AP EXAMS
As you know, taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Milton High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.
If you choose not to take the AP exam, there is an opt-out form that needs to be signed by you and your parents. This form must be completed by no later than March 18, 2016. Please ask your AP teacher for the form.
Students wishing to take AP exams must register for their tests online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access. AP exams are given to Milton students at no cost. Students will have the ability to continue in this tradition by registering for their tests during the regular registration window.
Online Exam registration will begin on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 12:01 AM. You will have until March 11 at 11:59 PM to complete your registration at no cost. Late registration will begin on Saturday, March 12 at 12:00 AM at a cost of $25 per exam, and end on Sunday, March 20 at 11:59 PM.
To complete the registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the .pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end.
We know that parents may desire to register their students for exams. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.
