 Research
Practice Based Research: Making Research Relevant to You-Diane Mastnardo:
Learn how our experiences in massage practice can be turned into relevant research. Practice Based Research Networks (PBRN) draw on the experience of clinicians (massage therapists) to identify research questions that can improve practices. By linking these questions with rigorous research, PBRN's produce relevant findings that can be immediately put into practice. Working in collaboration, we can turn our stories into evidence informed data, creating a common language to move the profession of massage therapy forward. In this session be prepared to learn: How PBRN's came about, the benefits of PBRN research for the clinician and for the patient, research methods utilized by PBRN's and how to get involved with PBRN's.
