Open enrollment for all individual health insurance plans happens once a year. During open enrollment you can:
- Apply for health insurance.
- Switch health insurance plans
- Change health insurance carriers
Open enrollment ends Jan. 31, 2016.
You are eligible to sign up any time during the year:
- If you have a life-changing event such as getting married, having a child or moving.
- Are enrolling in Medi-Cal
- For group enrollment.
