Ed Abbey Birthday Bash
Thursday, January 29th join us to celebrate Ed's birthday and spread his fabled activist spirit! The FLC Environmental Center and Environmental Studies Department will kick off the night with a showing of ML Lincoln's award-winning documentary Wrenched, which explores the 'monkey wrenching' era of environmental activism, and will culminate with music and birthday cake.

Green Business Roundtable- Agriculture on the Edge
The first Green Business Roundtable of 2015 will kick off with Kate Greenberg, of the National Young Farmers Coalition, discussing the changing demographics and enormous challenges facing farmers over the next twenty years.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Seeks an Inter-Tribal Youth Program Developer
The FWS seeks an environmental steward to assist with the advanced planning of the week-long Native American high school youth leadership training event - the Inter-Tribal Youth Climate Leadership Congress (ITYCLC) to be held at the National Conservation Training Center, Shepherdstown, WV from June 28 - July 3, 2015. The Steward will assist the project leader in all logistical planning and administration for the event, as well as managing a mini-grant program post-event.
