Ohio's budget bill approved recdently by Governor Kasich included language that changes Ohio's long-standing subrogation process. According to OII,  the language will undo 100-plus years of settled case law pertaining to insurer rights to subrogate for payments made and the process for distributing recoveries in legal actions.  Read more
