The Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) recently applied for a Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant. DCTA submitted $21 million in capital projects. The Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce was proud to provide a letter of support.

The recent legislative session adjourned. Senator Nelson, Representative Parker, Representative Simmons, Representative Crownover and Representative Fallon have worked tirelessly on behalf of their constituents. We have enjoyed working closely with each of our legislators during this legislative session.
On June 23, Representative Ron Simmons will provide the latest update at our monthly partnership luncheon. We will also have the opportunity to welcome the City of Lewisville's newly elected Mayor Rudy Durham and Lewisville ISD's newly appointed Superintendent Kevin Rogers, Ph.D.
