Director's Message

Every day, you, our valued partners tell us how much you appreciate ReServists - over 70% of our Partner organizations have stated that they could not accomplish their missions without their talents and contributions. ReServists provide a whole range of important services to individuals and organizations like your own.

In 2015, we established the ReServist Community Fund to support and strengthen this community of talented professionals.  In this season of giving, we ask you to consider joining us in supporting your ReServists with a small donation to this program building fund.

Your contr ibution will enable us to expand new initiatives in education - including the well-attended ReServED seminars - specialized training programs, community-building, and recognition opportunities.

We thank you for your continued support.
All of us at ReServe wish you a lovely holiday season and a Happy New Year!

A Groundbreaking Ten-Year Anniversary Summit
A Milestone in the Mission

How do you honor your first ten years of life-transforming community service?

The ReServe Community Fund

Building Community through Education & Engagement

In 2015, ReServe established a Community Fund to develop value-added services for ReServists. The fund supports several new initiatives, including the following:
  • ReServED, a free, monthly lecture series focused on empowering ReServists through information and resource sharing.  More than 400 ReServists have attended one or all of the workshops since we launched in January. Topics included:  Intergenerational Communications in the WorkPlace; Land That Opportunity - Resume Building and Job Coaching; How Ageism Warps our View of LongLives, and Professional Growth with BeSocialChange.   This comment from one of our participants sums it up:  "it was almost as if ReServe had read my mind about what I needed to focus on..."
  • ReServe Ambassadors, a group of experienced and passionate ReServists  who meet with us on a quarterly basis to help us identify opportunities for new social impact projects and assist with outreach to new program partners and City Council members.
  • Recognition events for ReServists participating in large-scale projects, such as the West Harlem Summer Seniors Service Program and celebration of PrepNOW.
Through the  ReServe Community Fund, we aim to provide even more opportunities in the coming year. Please join us in expanding our support for your ReServists and the contributions they make to your organization and its cause
