SOPHOMORE SITE VISITS

JEFFERSON BAMIT SHARK TANK COMPETITION 
Special thanks to the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Rockford Group who has been working with Mrs. Frazer's Econ classes in implementing its first ever Shark Tank Project. Derek Erwin with Raymond James, Karl Arvidson with Thayer Lighting Inc., Tony Blaine with Field Fastener, Steve Franklin with Thermo Fisher, and Shane Siner with Chase Bank have worked with the BAMIT College and Career Readiness Council since October 2014 in helping to support RPS 205 BAMIT Academy initiatives such as the Shark Tank Project which was held March 25th - March 27th. Special thanks also goes out to Bergstrom Inc., Manpower, Rockford Local Development Corporation, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and the US Army Recruiting Station in Rockford for providing community members to sit in as "sharks." ACADEMY EXPO 2015
Academy Expo Our Academy Expo A-Team has been hard at work planning for this year's Academy Expo! Last year's Expo was a giant success with over 113 companies, 121 represented careers, 140 booths, 563 Industry Experts, 99 Hospitality Ambassadors, and 10,571 donated hours. This year's Expo, hosted by Alignment Rockford and Rockford Public Schools will include Freshman students from Belvidere, Harlem, and Hononegah School Districts.
