JumpstartBackpackJumpstart Offers Credit Repair Class
Jumpstart Program Director, Jamika Irby (in yellow), is joined by (L-R) Jacqueline Snyder,
Jacob L. McWhorter and Eric Madkins
from Regions Bank.

The Jumpstart Program recently hosted a class on Credit Repair.  Staff from Regions Bank facilitated a discussion and answered questions.

The participants were given budget books, calculators and expanding files, provided in part by the City of St. Louis Continuum of Care, as a means to help them work toward one of the program goals which is to 'maintain or increase income.'

A big Thank You goes to Urban Eats for hosting the class and allowing us to utilize their space as we educate families and
build community through program participation.

Our 2nd Annual Double A, Double H Health Fair was a success! It was a day filled with health education, screenings, flu shots and prizes. Attendees enjoyed all of the booths and giveaways from the different vendors. Our goal for the health fair is to remind residents that there are several community supports and resources right outside their door.

Special thanks to businesses and organizations such as Walgreens, The SPOT, St. Louis Community College,
Affinia Healthcare, St. Louis City Health Department,
SAGE Metro St. Louis and Gilead Sciences.
VoiceYourChoiceThanks to our Volunteers

Volunteers from RubinBrown spent the day sorting and renaming file cabinets in our storage room.  They also helped clean our storage area and organized donations for our clients in emergency housing.  Thanks for all your great work - we appreciate you!

Volunteers from St. Louis University visited as part of their Make A Difference Day.  They spent the day racking leaves around Cooper House and beautifying the Giudici-Tinlin AIDS Memorial Garden.  They were a great group and we thank them for all their hard work.
