ARCCA WELCOMES FOUR NEW EXPERTS

RANDY CLARKSEAN, PhD, P.E., has more than 30 years of experience as a mechanical engineer specializing in Failure Analysis, Accident Reconstruction, Fires, Explosions, Spontaneous Combustion/Ignition and the thermal performance of engineering systems (HVAC, boilers, heat transfer, phase change and fluid flow). Dr. Clarksean also has strong skills in applying fundamentals to diverse process equipment, product design, computer applications and software development, and is an experienced expert witness.

Prior to joining ARCCA as its Vice President of Failure Analysis, Dr. Clarksean held several senior positions with other forensic engineering firms where he performed failure analysis investigations for insurance clients, attorneys, and industrial clients. To learn more about Randy, CLICK HERE.

PETER CHEN, M.S.M.E., M.B.A., P.E., CFEI, ACTAR, specializes in Accident Reconstruction, Fire Origin/Cause, Human Factors, Slip and Fall, Product Liability and Machine Analysis/Guarding. In addition to holding a Professional Engineer license, Mr. Chen is also ACTAR-certified, a JLG certified trainer for boom lifts/aerial work platforms and is a Certified Fire Explosion Investigator.

Mr. Chen previously spent many years with one of the country's leading jet engine manufacturers. While there, he helped to develop a short takeoff, vertical landing engine that was featured on PBS' NOVA broadcast. Most recently, he was employed at a forensic engineering firm and investigated fire cause/origin, motor vehicle accident, product failure, heavy equipment accident and premises liability cases. JACQUELINE M. LEWIS, PhD, is a Senior Biomechanist at ARCCA specializing in the study of forces and mechanics associated with human injury. Dr. Lewis applies this work to segments of the human body involved in collisions and other impact-producing events, and specializes in kinematic and kinetic analysis of human motion.

Dr. Lewis received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas. She went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, as well as her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

SAMUEL C. WORDEMAN, PhD, is a Senior Biomechanist at ARCCA specializing in the study of forces and mechanics of human injury. Dr. Wordeman has extensive experience testing live and post-mortem human subjects, including application of 3D motion analysis technologies to human motion.

Dr. Wordeman earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Biomechanics, from Washington University in St. Louis. He subsequently obtained degrees of Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University.
