Michigan students transfer out of community colleges at an above-national-average rate of 37%, but only 24% transfer out with a certificate or degree. Forty percent of those transfer students who enroll at a public university complete a bachelor's degree, but only 14% enrolling at a private nonprofit college complete a bachelor's degree.
