Welcome to our NEW Board Members!

The WNY Women's Foundation is excited to introduce seven new Board Members contributing their time and talents to drive the organization with a tenacious vision to achieve a vibrant WNY community where all women and girls have the opporunity to thrive. We welcome:  Teresa Bair Esq., Ulla Bak, Esq., Dr. Helen Cappucino, Katherine S. Conway-Turner, Ph.D., Hon. Lenora B. Foote, Andrea H. HusVar, Esq., and
Paula Joy Reinhold.   This year's Board will be led by Ann Evanko, Esq. as President.

New Board Members:

Teresa Bair, Esq.  is a seasoned commercial attorney, currently working at Athenex Pharmaceuticals, a rapidly growing global specialty oncology pharmaceutical company.

Ulla Bak, Esq.  is the President and owner of BakUSA, the first US-based business to assemble its own-branded electronic tablets outside Asia.

Dr. Helen Cappucino, MD   is a board-certified surgeon in the Breast Surgery Division, Department of Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. 

Katherine S. Conway-Turner, Ph.D.  is the ninth president of Buffalo State College.

Hon. Lenora B. Foote, Esq.  is a Support Magistrate for the Erie County Family Court as well as an Adjunct Professor of Family Law at Hilbert College.

Andrea H. HusVar, Esq.  is a partner at the Corporate Practice Group at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP.

Paula Joy Reinhold  is involved with the Joy Family Foundation, a foundation focusing on assisting the economically disadvantaged through tax-exempt organizations.

 
WoMen in Action is a team of passionate women and men with a desire to learn more about the issues affecting women and their families and to be a part of community change.  Members receive periodic emails based on WNYWF's Advocacy Agenda and educational materials relating to the Pathways to Progress report .
