The New Leaders in African-Centered Social Work scholars program, with support from U-M School of Social Work, 
is hosting a presentation by 
Drexel University's Dr. V. Kenneth Hardy
African American Children and Families: Unmasking the Hidden Wounds 
of Racial Trauma
   
Dr. Hardy will speak on the historical and contemporary role of oppression in the lives of African American youth and families and the role of communities as sources of healing. Implications for micro and macro practice will be addressed.
