Mission Accomplished!
First and foremost we would like to thank each and every attendee for making our Summer Conference 2015 very successful and rewarding. Without the participation from our dedicated members it would not have been possible!
The theme for this year was #MissionPossible and BMSA definitely accomplished that!
This year was the perfect mix of business with a twist of fun added. The Summer Conference consisted of installing new leaders for the coming year, sunshine, beach, family, friends, golf, kayaking, and excellent industry education. Attendance this year was up 33% and exhibit space was sold out before the middle of June!

Do it Best's CEO to Retire Jan. 4; COO Starr Will Take Over
Do it Best Corp president and CEO Bob Taylor will retire effective Jan. 4 and will be succeeded by the current executive vice president and chief operating officer, Dan Starr. Starr will become only the fifth president and CEO in the co-op's 70-year history, the Fort Wayne, Ind.-based operation noted in a news release. He joined Do it Best in 2005 as director of human resources and general counsel, became vice president of human resources in 2006, and has served as EVP and COO since 2012.

Cedar Creek to Relocate to a New Facility in Madison, Wisconsin
Oklahoma City, OK, August 14, 2015 - Cedar Creek announces moving to a new facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The branch officially opened for business in the new location on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. The facility is located at 1102 Lumbermans Trail, Madison, WI, 53716. All phone numbers will remain the same.
Cedar Creek is a leading wholesale building material distribution company with twenty-four locations servicing thirty-two states. In May of 2010, Cedar Creek was recapitalized by Boston-based Charlesbank Capital Partners, with the goal of providing flexible capital for the company to grow beyond its current trade areas.
