The 2015 Business Excellence Awards Top Finalists Announcement

The Business Awards Committee has announced the finalists for the 2015 Business Excellence Awards. The community began submitting nominations on July 17th and nominations closed on September 25th, 2015. The Business Awards Committee shortlisted the nominations in each of the eight award categories. The finalists that have been selected will be subject to the judging process by an independent panel of judges.

The top qualifiers, listed alphabetically, in each category are as follows:

The People's Choice Award is a non-juried award, the recipient will be selected according to the total number of ballots the business received. The submitted ballots indicate excellence in quality customer and client services. The nominees, listed alphabetically, are: Blue Mandolin; Don's Butcher Shop; Foodland; Giant Tiger; Great Northern Flea Market; La Vie en Couleur & Décor; MJD Place; No Frills; North Bay Computer Services; Riv Chipstand; Rustic Zen Wellness Studio; Stereo Plus; Sturgeon Falls Tribune; Twiggs Coffee Roasters.

All of the businesses nominated in each of the eight categories will be recognized on November 7^th at the Marcel Noël Hall in Sturgeon Falls, with the winning business in each category announced. " I would like to thank the community for their participation in the nomination process, and to congratulate all nominees. On behalf of the Business Awards Committee, I encourage you to join us in celebrating the achievements of local businesses and enjoy a spectacular evening filled with exceptional food, impeccable decor and entertainment. It's going to be a night to remember" said Marian Bergeron, Chairperson of the Business Awards Committee. The evening will include a gourmet dinner prepared by Blue Mandolin Catering, live entertainment and a draw for $1000 West Nipissing Dollars that can be spent at any of the Chamber of Commerce Member businesses in West Nipissing. "We are thrilled to honor and celebrate the hardworking entrepreneurs in our community" said Kathleen Thorne-Rochon, WN Chamber President.

The evening will be focused on recognizing West Nipissing entrepreneurial spirit and honoring our vibrant business community. Tickets to the Business Excellence Awards Gala are on sale now and priced at $100 per ticket for Chamber members or $750 for a table of 8, and $125 per ticket for non-members or $950 for a table of 8. The evening will begin with cocktails at 5:00 pm and gourmet dinner at 6:30 pm with the awards ceremony and live entertainment to follow. There are a limited amount of tickets available for the event and members of the community are encouraged to reserve their seat by calling 705-753-5672 or by visiting the Chamber of Commerce. Join us in this gala celebration that recognizes excellence and achievement; the 2015 West Nipissing Business Excellence Awards - an evening of celebration, gourmet food, and live local entertainment.

La Voix des Patriotes 2015

Chère Propriétaire de commerce du West Nipissing,

Le Loupfm 97,1 et l'école Franco Cité son partenaire dans un projet de radio . Nous avons produit une émission '' La Voix des Patriotes'' l'année dernière , la première dans tout le nord Ontario !

Pendant cette production les élèves ont reçu de l'éducation sur plusieurs sujets et surtout la chance de grandir dans eux même ... la confiance .. . l'expérience ... honnêtement cette expérience est fantastique.

Nous sommes la seule radio francophone , nos auditeurs son vos voisins , vos familles , vos amies , les familles et les connaissant de tous ses étudiants !!!

L'émission de radio ``La Voix des Patriotes`` a eu un grand succès avec les élèves. M. Denis Beaudry veut reprendre le projet pour une deuxième année, en octobre.

L'émission va faire partie du programme pendant les cours et sera enregistrée dans leur propre studio à l'école. Les Pubs seront enregistrées dans notre studio à la station de radio du Le Loup FM.

Marcel Marcotte donne de l'encadrement ici au studio , le prof à l'école et j'ai le plaisir d'avoir des invités spéciaux de L'Université de Sudbury pour faire des encadrements sur autre sujet : script - entrevue - radio-.....
