The Shura Council of Southern California in cooperation with ICNA/WhyIslam participated in a Dawah and Outreach Booth at the Rotary World Peace Conference in Ontario, CA this past weekend. Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi was among the many speakers at this conference. There were about 1,500 participants, many of whom visited the booth with various questions about Islam, Muslims and current situations affecting Muslims in the United States and the World.
The Islamic Shura Council is an umbrella organization of Mosques and Muslim organizations serving the Muslims of Southern California. Since 1995, the Council continues to foster the spirit and culture of "working together" at all levels in one of the most diverse and largest Muslim populations in the country.
