| Saints Peter & Paul School
For the past several ye
 ars, our Advancement Board has been looking to add a new fundraiser. Certain events like Football Mania, an Alumni Basketball Tournament, a 3 on 3 Blacktop Basketball Tournament, a 9 & Dine Golf Outing, and a Fashion Show had run its course and made very little profit given the required manpower.
This weekend our first annual Rummage Sale will make its debut. The brainchild of Nicole and Dan Jurjovec '94, it is designed to make money from those other than our school parents. "We ask our parents to support our Auction, Golf  Outing, and Annual Fund Drive," said Ryan Kubacki, Advancement Board president, "so we wanted to come up with something unique and creative which parishioners and neighbors would be eager to support. "
The first sign of community support was the tremendous deposit of items for resale. "We've got children and adult clothes, bikes, books, lamps, children's games, glassware,  couches, dressers, head boards, mattresses, kitchenware, strollers, sports gear, Christmas decorations, and much more," said Nicole Jurovec. "I'm overwhelmed by the response. You can barely walk in the gym." Fortunately, Nicole has a great committee to assist her. In addition, our students are earning service hours by carrying items from the curb side drop off into the gym.
 After sorting and pricing the items, the next step is wait for the customers to come through the door. The Sale Days are Friday, June 12, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, also from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 14, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
