The Christmas Holiday is right around around the corner and that means it is almost time for the annual Currituck Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting!  This year's event, "Currituck's Night of Twinkling Lights" will be held  on Friday December 4  beginning at  7pm .  Stay tuned for more announcements on other activities that will be taking place nearby before the parade!  Read more .
  
4-H & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Are you interested in learning more about horses? Be sure to register to attend the equine science series which begins on November 12. The first session will teach you all about the anatomy of the horse and different breeds. Participants can register for one or all of these free classes. 
FAMILY & CONSUMER SCIENCE
Thanks to the recent Toys for Tots run sponsored by Extension and the Currituck Run Club, $200 and twenty toys were received to provide gifts for needy children in our community this holiday season.  Donations are still being accepted at the Currituck Extension Center.  Read more .
AGRICULTURE
If you possess a pesticide applicator's license and are in need of continuing education credits, be sure to attend the upcoming pesticide training.  The class will be held on Monday, November 9 from 8:30 to 12 at the Currituck Extension Center.  Read more.
