November Greetings
Dear Street's Hope Supporters,
Last month, the FBI reported they recovered 20 children from a nation-wide, sex trafficking sting. According to the Denver Post's
article, "
For the second year in a row, Denver recovered more victims than any other of the 135 cities involved in the operation." It is undeniable that sex trafficking and the commercial sex trade are alive and well here in OUR community.
There is a huge need for treatment and services for the survivors of the sex trade and
we are proud to announce that we have recently expanded our residential program occupancy to serve TEN women at a time
(up from eight). One year of residential treatment costs approximately $10,000 per woman. It truly takes a committed community of donors, volunteers, and prayer warriors to come alongside our dedicated staff to continue serving our unique and vulnerable population.
Colorado Gives Day (CGD) is coming up and we want to encourage you to consider giving to Street's Hope on that state-wide giving day, where each donation is increased due to the incentive funds. There is more information about CGD below.
We truly thank you for supporting our work and helping our Street's Hope survivors experience healing, empowerment, and redemption.
With grateful hearts,
Street's Hope Staff & Board of Directors
