Call for Teaching Artists: AZ Creative Aging Teaching Artist Institute
Application Deadline: Tuesday, December 1, 2015
The Arizona Commission on the Arts is seeking up to 10 professional teaching artists throughout Maricopa County who have a serious, committed interest in working with older adults in community and care settings for the inaugural, five-month AZ Creative Aging Teaching Artist Institute.
The first component of the Arts Commission's three-year AZ Creative Aging Initiative, t
he Teaching Artist Institute is a comprehensive training program that will introduce teaching artists to the variety of settings, programs, and partners that make up the creative aging field. Participants will receive training facilitated by master teaching artists, work with a mentor throughout the course of the Institute, and engage in applied learning through guided, on-site teaching opportunities.
Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, December 1, 2015.

A Blade of Grass Fellowship for Socially Engaged Art

This one-year fellowship for individual artists and collectives pairs project support of $20,000 with strategic support, assessment tools, video documentation, and other tailored resources for socially engaged artists working nationwide.

USArtists International Round II

Committed to the presence of US based artists on world stages, USArtists International provides grants to ensembles and individual performers in dance, music and theatre invited to perform at significant international festivals.
