HAPPENINGS
One of our many goals in achieving our mission of inspiring students to become STEM professionals is to expose them to real life STEM careers. Paul Public Charter School student interns learn from Dr. Erica Glasper, Assistant Professor @ University of Maryland College Park about careers in Neuroscience.

"I would have never imagined being able to have an internship at such a young age, while doing something I am really interested in."
- Jordon, Paul Public Charter School

" We've learned about the hippocampus and what it does. We've also learned about the HPA axis and how it correlates with the hippocampus. I've always been interest in the human body. My mom is a nurse and I used to help her study. I've always particularly been fascinated by the brain and how it corresponds to the other parts of the body. I strive to become a neurosurgeon and I also aim to achieve a PhD in neuroscience."
-Ronnisa, Paul Public Charter School

LET'S GO Functional Directors train instructors to present hands-on STEM activities several times over the course of a school year.

These teachers from Paint Branch Elementary School in College Park, Maryland are being trained to present J.E.S.S. (Junior Engineers & Scientist Series)
