Shop the Warehouse! Take a class with Barry Klein!

Barry Klein
Join us Saturday December 5th for a unique experience where we get to go "Behind the Scenes" at Trendsetter Yarns!

We're so excited about this upcoming adventure where we'll get to shop the 10,000 Sq Foot Warehouse full of fabulous yarns! There are also options to take a class with Barry as well as dinner the evening before.

We've been working with our good friends at Trendsetter to set up a fun and fiber filled weekend in Van Nuys at Trendsetter.

Barry is excited to give you a wonderful class with a number of options suitable for many levels of knitters. He and his staff are also excited to give us a glimpse at their facility as well as show us some new yarns that most won't see until the TNNA show in January!

Our adventure actually starts on Friday December 4th if you'd like to join us for dinner that evening as some of us are traveling down by train to Van Nuys.

Click here for all the details and to see how to register. Space in limited in the class, so if you're interested, sign up now!

Don't miss this exciting opportunity!

Pillbox Hat
Make a Simple, quick-to-knit hat class!

You've made scarves, dish cloths, and maybe even a hat that was knitted flat, but have you knit in the round? We get many requests to learn how to knit a hat using circular needles. To that end, we're offering a two part class that will teach you how to join in the round, do decreases, and knit on double pointed needles. We're breaking the class up into two classes so you don't have to do everything at once! And, it comes with the yarn and the pattern!

This is a great class to learn to knit a quick, simple hat for gift giving!

Six Fingers
6 Year Celebration!

We have a hard time imagining it's been 6 years since we re-opened the little yarn shop in Cambria. A lot has happened since 2009, the biggest event being our move to Main Street in our greatly expanded showroom over three years ago. Our location on the corner of Bridge and Main is 3 times the size of the old shop on Burton! (The original shop, as you may know, was actually in the West Village for the first 2 years)

To celebrate, we decided to offer a wide variety of yarns in the shop at some very attractive pricing. With brands such as Rowan, Noro, Trendsetter, and Debbie Bliss on the list, there's bound to be something you'd enjoy!
Pricing on In-Stock items only while supplies last.

Auntie WoolyAuntie Wooly Says...

Dahlings!

It was so wonderful to see you all this October for our annual Scarecrow Fest. It was great to see all of you and to be in your selfies.
In addition, we were running a fundraiser all month where we took a percentage of all our sales to donate to Cast Off Chemo.

With your help, we raised $500 for Cast Off Chemo!

Together, we're going to make chemotherapy a thing of the past.

Thank you all!

Shadow Poncho Free Pattern!

Designed by our own Kathy Yurman, the Shadow Poncho can be made from a wide variety of yarns. We (and she) would suggest Manos Silk Blend, a wonderful Merino and Silk Fair Trade yarn from a Woman's Cooperative in Uruguay. If you're using Silk Blend the pattern takes 8 skeins, a US 6 needle, and you should cast on 100 stitches. Everything else is the same as the pattern.

Alternatively, you could use Manos Clara. 3 skeins should do with that yarn as it has so much yardage. Try the same cast on and needle size as Silk Blend. (Kathy said that yarn should be perfect as well!)
