We need your help!

As the NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders moves further into 2014, we will be launching several new and/or improved programs, events & initiatives to help celebrate our 10th anniversary. Such endeavors cost a significant amount of money, however, and we are in need of your help to find new, innovative ways to raise those funds.

Developing corporate relationships and obtaining event & program sponsorships is one of our greatest areas of need. If you have any connections that might help in that regard, or if you or your organization are interested in being a sponsor yourself, would you please contact us at 908-575-7350?

We are also looking for volunteers and people to populate decision-making committees for the NJ Walks for TS at Princeton, NJCTS Family Retreat Weekend, NJ Walks for TS at Mendham and more. Please contact NJCTS Family Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator Leanne Loewenthal if you are interested. Thank you!
Camp Bernie, scholarships & a walk, oh my!
Registration is under way for the NJCTS Family Retreat Weekend, the NJCTS Children's Scholarships & NJ Walks for TS at Princeton
The "best weekend of the year" isn't July 4 or Labor Day ... it's June 6-8, when NJCTS and its families will gather for the 10th annual Family Retreat Weekend at YMCA Camp Bernie!

Registration is now open for this event, which promises to be bigger, better AND longer in 2014. The Family Retreat Weekend will begin on Friday afternoon, instead of the usual Friday evening, and culminate on Sunday afternoon.

Get ready for a jam-packed schedule of sports, arts & crafts, self-advocacy workshops, informational seminars and plenty of time to make new friends. More information about this year's retreat will be available in the coming weeks and months, but for now, be sure to get you and your family signed up! Registration is due by May 1.

The NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program was established in 2004 for graduating New Jersey high schools seniors who have been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and will be attending college, university or trade school.

Thanks to generous gifts from donors, this program once again is being offered in 2014. The application process is open now and will run through May 1. Winners will be announced in June and will be chosen by a committee based on academic achievement, community involvement and accomplishment as an individual living with TS.

NJ Walks for TS Preparations for the 1st NJ Walks for TS at Princeton are well under way! We recently paid a visit to Mercer County Park, where the walk will take place on April 6, to envision what the event will look like. If you check out our online photo gallery, you're certain to get as excited about the walk as we are!

Teams are forming now to walk/run, and fundraising is getting under way to benefit the NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program. Don't miss out on this fabulous event! And if you register now, you can save 10 percent off the regular price.
