NJ Walks for TS at Mendham raises $50,000!
Meet the champions of our registration and fundraising campaigns
The 4th annual NJ Walks for TS at Mendham on November 23 was our best walk yet! More than 400 people converged upon Borough Park despite freezing cold temperatures and helped raise more than $50,000 to support the NJCTS School In-Service Program, which educates students and teachers at schools in every corner of New Jersey about TS, anti-bullying initiatives and self-advocacy.

That kind of support could not be possible without each and every participant and donor. However, there were a few who went above and beyond, and NJCTS has recognized those individuals and teams with special prizes.

The captains of the three largest teams will receive a pair of stylish designer sunglasses, valued at $180 each and donated by Red Star World Wear. The team that raised the most money has earned a $100 restaurant gift card and two $50 AMC Theatres movie gift cards so the team can enjoy a night out on the town! And the top two individuals who generated the most donations each will receive a $50 Amazon.com gift card.

NJ Walks for TS at Princeton to debut April 6 at Mercer County Park
NJ Walks for TS
Our NJ Walks for TS events this year at Ramapo College and Mendham were so successful that we are expanding the program to Central and South Jersey! On Sunday, April 6, NJ Walks for TS at Princeton will take place at Mercer County Park in West Windsor to support the NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program, which over the past 10 years has awarded more than 200 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in New Jersey with TS.
