recently launched a new exhibit: 
The Face of  the Ghetto: Pictures Taken by Jewish Photographers in the Litzmannstadt Ghetto, 1940-1944

Following the invasion of Poland in 1939, the Nazis imposed a ghetto in the city of Lodz, which they renamed Litzmannstadt. At great personal risk, a handful of Jewish photographers defied orders and documented intimate moments of family, childhood and community in the ghetto. 12,000 such images survived.

CJPAC Election Volunteer Coordinator


 

The Volunteer Coordinators (3) will be based in CJPAC offices in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. This is a temporary, full time position for the months of August, September, and October. Anticipated start date is August 4th. CJPAC's activities during the election include connecting volunteers with the campaign of their choice for the 2015 election, and the primary objective of the Volunteer Coordinator is to be the connection between volunteers and those campaign offices. The Volunteer Coordinators report to the Director of Outreach and Programming. To apply for this position please send a cover letter and CV with the subject line "Election Volunteer Coordinator" and the job location to [email protected] by June 30th, 2015.
