Ben's Buzz:
February 10, 2016
As a reminder, this year's February Break is an extended Presidents Day Weekend. This break will consist of an early release on Friday, February 12th, followed by no school on Monday and Tuesday the 15th and 16th. School will resume on Wednesday, February 17th.
This abbreviated break was approved by our administration and Board of Trustees in the Spring of 2015 in order to afford us an earlier last day of school. You may recall that last year our last day of school was June 23rd. At this point, our projected last day of school is June 16th. Please note that the June 16th date is subject to change based on any upcoming weather related closures.
Congratulations to Ms. Herliczek and all of our 7th and 8th grade students for their participation in the Science Fair. We will have six students participate in the Regional Science fair to be held at Bristol Community College in early March.

Save the Date! |
Save the Date: Please join us for an adult only fundraiser to be held at Franklin Art Center on Friday, March 4 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Spread the news as family and friends are invited to join us for this fun event! All proceeds will benefit the 8th grade trip to Washington, DC.
The cost of the event is $35. BFCCPS parent, Robin Stamp, will lend her painting expertise as you make your own masterpiece to take home with you. Enjoy some light music and take a chance at the 50/50
raffle! Space is limited, so you will want to
reserve your spot
as soon as possible.
