Inst Music

IM jazz students and a few interested vocalists and pianists received a masterclass from acclaimed jazz pianist, Vijay Iyer on Wednesday, May 13th. It was illuminating with many nuggets of inspiration and wisdom about music from him. Multiple students played for and with Mr. Iyer, including a version of the famously difficult tune, Giant Steps! It was a delight and we are thankful to San Francisco Performances for providing their resident artist for this great opportunity.
