NCCP Training
In partnership with the Alberta Sport Development Centre SW, the Lethbridge Sport Council plans to offer NCCP modules in Lethbridge.
Coaches are asked to please take a minute to fill out a survey to help us assess which modules to offer.

Alberta Winter Games 2016
The 2016 Alberta Winter Games will be held in Medicine Hat from February 13-16.  All athletes have qualified for the Alberta Games through a Zone Playoff.
Lethbridge will be well represented at the 2016 Alberta Winter Games, with 100 athletes and coaches from Lethbridge & the surrounding areas representing Zone 1! 
Sampling vs. Early Specialization
The Canadian Sport for Life - Long Term Athlete Development Model identifies 10 key factors including 'physical literacy' and 'specialization '. In 'late specialization' sports, physical literacy should be acquired before maturation and specialization.

Lethbridge Children's Festival 2016
This year's Children's Festival will be held at Exhibition Park on April 17th, 2016, from 10 AM - 5 PM.
Admission for children under 10 is free, adults are $5.

Alberta Sport Connection Athlete and Team of the Year
The 2015 Athlete and Team of the Year Awards will
 be  presented in conjunction with the 2016 Alberta Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 3 2016.  Nomination Deadline is Monday February 29, 2016

Ignite UR Spark
Ignite UR Spark is a chance for youth ages 9-18 to try new activities, sports, and hobbies here in Lethbridge.  Ignite UR Spark will be held on April 19, 2016 in the Main Pavilion at Exhibition Park.
