We are pleased to announce that the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is partnering with Families In Schools to support the Million Word Challenge. Through their generous contribution we will be offering schools and families opportunities to participate, read and share their stories about meeting their literacy goals.
The Million Word Challenge is a campaign that encourages children, preschool-12th grade to read MILLIONS of WORDS outside of school. This year the campaign will take place February 16th - May 6th. Registration for families will end on March 14th.

Compete for prizes based on level of participation throughout the campaign.
The Million Word Challenge is a literacy campaign led by Families In Schools that promotes a culture of literacy at home and academic achievement at school.
