PGA OF BC GEARS UP FOR SPRING EDUCATION SEMINAR
With over 120 members signed up to attend next week's Spring Education Seminar at Tsawwassen Springs, excitement is building surrounding our lineup of excellent speakers.

Day One will consist of a presentation by Troon Golf's Jim McLaughlin in the morning, followed by Martin Chuck of Tour Striker in the afternoon. Day Two will see Jason Ballard (Oak Hill Country Club), Brent Zepp (Chambers Bay Golf Club), Wes Purdie (Harry Rosen Inc.), and Kevin Church (Minni, Clark & Company) present on a wide variety of topics, from team building to retail.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the PGA of BC will be held on Monday, February 15 at 4:00 PM at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course.

Please note that the dress code for this event is business formal. Members requiring a copy of the Association's audited financial statements in advance of the meeting are asked to contact the PGA of BC office.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT VANCOUVER GOLF & TRAVEL SHOW
Looking for a way to get ahead in the PDP points race? The PGA of BC is awarding points to members volunteering in the Learning Centre at this weekend's Vancouver Golf & Travel Show.

Volunteers are still needed for shifts at the show on Saturday, February 13. All those who assist will earn 1 PDP point per every hour volunteered. For more information and available time slots, please contact Donald Miyazaki as soon as possible at donald@pgabc.org.

NAGA SEEKS SUPPORT IN 2016 FEDERAL BUDGET PRE-CONSULTATION
The National Allied Golf Associations (NAGA) is focused on ensuring the golf industry's request for tax fairness is a priority for the new government, and needs the support of industry members across the country in doing so.

The Minister of Finance has officially launched pre-budget consultations, which provides Canadians with the opportunity to submit their own responses on improving tax fairness among the middle class. For more information, and to support this cause, please click here.
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2016 BC GOLF HOUSE TRADITION CLASSIC
Taking place on Monday, May 9 (1:00 PM shotgun) at University Golf Course, the Tradition event will feature amateur foursomes with all players playing their own ball in a 2 of 4 best net format, followed by a reception and banquet after the golf.
