Module 5:
Strategic Management of Resources
A few seats remain for our upcoming APICS class which begins Friday, March 4th! You can start at any module until all five are completed to receive your CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification.

Course Description:

This module outlines the body of knowledge required to translate strategic decisions into process and infrastructure tools and concepts learned in the other CPIM modules.  It addresses the implications and consequences of strategic decisions on the operations of the organization and on supply chain partners.  This knowledge facilitates communication with senior management concerning strategic alternative consequences and implementing change.

 

 Topics Include: 

  • Understanding concepts that require a combination of elements and higher thinking within the entire CPIM body of knowledge
  • Knowing the relationship of existing and emerging processes and technologies to operations and supply chain functions
  • Understanding various business environments
  • Knowing how business strategies are developed and how operation strategies are implemented

Date:  Fridays beginning March 4th, 2016 thru May 6, 2016

Time:  1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
