Finding a way of Remembering
Take a few moments to write down What You Stand For. Now play with finding a symbol that feels just right for what you have written. A symbol that carries the memory of what is truly important to you. That symbol is meant to remind you. Tape it on to a little card and put it in your wallet. It's there as your best friend.

We all need reminders. Challenge yourself to find a way of remembering, so when the old thoughts show themselves, you have a means of reconnecting. You can only reconnect if you remember!

My Resistance is Kicking Up!

"Nature turns manure into flowers, compost into gardens, our stuff into our highest potential." ~ Bev Pugh and a fortune cookie

3 hearts
After having written What do I stand For in January, I was energized with inspiration. I had brought more clarity into my life about what I really stand for. For me it iscourage, compassion, highest potential, service, and gratitude. There are times when the tools in my beautiful tool kit seem not to be that effective. When this happens, there are three avenues with which I guide myself to get back on track and to reconnect with myself. We all go through waves of resistance. We can be so locked into habit. It is part of being human! It is one thing to create a vision that feels so right and it is another to live it. My philosophy with myself is that resistance can visit but it doesn't have to stay. Here is what I do.

What Do I Stand For? I Forget! by Percy

perspective
I am 26 years old and when Bev asked me how I was doing with my "What do I stand for", I said I had forgotten what I had wrote. She said that this would make me an excellent contributor!

I had forgotten. At the moment, I am holding a job and going to school. I feel like I am in survival mode. I have trouble remembering stuff to do in everyday life, let alone remember "What do I stand for!" I had decided to postpone any higher thinking until after everything was over. I typically think of my goals into the future, rather than right now. Now, I have to survive. I find it hard to be inspirational when I am stressed.

Happy Valentine's Day!
