Faces from Afar: Photographing People in Diverse Cultures

Frank is an award winning photographer specializing in creating images of rapidly changing or vanishing cultures. He travels to the world's remote locations photographing the great variety of life-styles and cultures that comprise the human mosaic. His travels have taken him to all seven continents and into most imagined terrains-across deserts, through steamy rain forests, over high mountain ranges, into thick jungle swamps, across high arid plateaus, and up and down dozens of teaming rivers. Over the course of his travels, Frank has developed a deep personal respect for his subjects whose lives are being so radically altered by the steady encroachment of market capitalism.

His photographs have been exhibited as solo shows at the Donna Nigh Gallery, University of Central Oklahoma, the Kirkpatrick Gallery at Omniplex, the Oklahoma Arts Council's Oklahoma State Capitol Gallery, the Gallery of Redlands community College and at Digital Labrador Gallery in Kansas City. In addition, his images have been included in a number of group exhibits in Oklahoma and Kansas, and have appeared in PHOTO LIFE MAGAZINE and other publications.
