Come out and join the global revolution at One Billion Rising!  A community rally with guest speakers, performances and the official One Billion Rising Dance, Choreographed by the legendary  Debbie Allen.  

One Billion Rising is the biggest mass action to end violence against women in human history. The campaign, launched on Valentine's Day 2012, began as a call to action based on the staggering statistic that 1 in 3 women on the planet will be beaten or raped during her lifetime. With the world population at 7 billion, this adds up to more than ONE BILLION WOMEN AND GIRLS.

Join the West Hollywood City Council, Special Guest Speakers Frances Fisher ( Resurrection),  Sufe Bradshaw ( Veep) , Gethin Anthony ( Game of Thrones), Donny Most (Happy Days) , Community Activist Drian Juarez, LA Gay & Lesbian Center, and Youth Feminist Leader Alexandra Shannon.  Musical guests include Michael Anthony Perna, Bitch, and Levitere Dance Company!

Be Heard Screening!

In collaboration with the City of West Hollywood, Be Heard will be screening the stories of survivors of sexual violence.  Be Heard is a project that provides a platform for survivors to speak out, aiding in their healing process and raising awareness to the public. Come watch survivors share their experiences and perspectives in both an intimate and incredibly forthright manner. Listen, learn, and share. Stories will be screened ongoing, so stop by!
