Party to Open Antelope Butte

Ullr has been waiting for us.

Our lifts have hung silent and our slopes have sat empty.  This is our moment to make the dream of a thriving Antelope Butte a reality.

On February 18, the Antelope Butte Foundation will host the inaugural Ullr Ball, a festive evening to celebrate mountain recreation and Wyoming winters!  Starting at 6:30pm at the Best Western Sheridan Center, the Ullr Ball will feature auctions, performance by the Craft Brothers, and presentation of the first-ever Ullr Honor.  And, this party will raise funds to purchase Antelope Butte and begin restoration.  The Ullr Ball is sponsored by Sheridan Media.

Like any celebration of the mountains, this is not a formal event.  Instead, we encourage you to dress festive in mountain casual, or "alpine chic" wear.  Tickets are $35/person or $60/couple and include an assortment of appetizers and 2 drinks per person.   Buy tickets online here.

The inaugural class of the Ullr Honor will be the board of directors and shareholders of Fun Valley- the original ski area of the Bighorns in the 1960s and predecessor to Antelope Butte.

Auction items include vacation packages, lift tickets, and outdoor gear!  Plus, be the first to sponsor a chairlift chair, name a trail, or even name one of our ski area facilities.

Come party like a Norse God, and help us Open Antelope Butte!
Sponsor a Chair, Name a Ski Trail, or Join Legacy Circle

The Antelope Butte Foundation is rolling out a program for donors to create their legacy at Antelope Butte.  Opportunities include sponsorship of chairlift chairs, naming of ski trails, and event naming of facilities like the restaurant, lounge, shop, or even the lodge!

Sponsorship opportunities start at $5,000, and all donors that contribute $5,000 or more prior to completing the purchase of Antelope Butte will be included in the "Legacy Circle" recognition.

For more details, come to the Ullr Ball in Sheridan on February 18, or contact the Antelope Butte Foundation at 307-529-1250 or [email protected].
