February on the Rooftop - Week 1

God designed us as humans not only to need each other, but also to need Him.  He desires us to have a relationship with Him and to cooperate with each other to do His work in the world.  This month our virtue is COOPERATION:  working together to do more than you can do alone.  Our memory verse is from Ecclesiastes 4:9-10a, "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their hard work.  If either should fall, one can pick up the other." CEB

This week we read about God's tabernacle in Exodus.  God called together experts he had gifted with all different kinds of talents to build a place where the people could worship Him.  All kinds of people worked together to build what God asked them to build.  Our bottom line:  We can work together to get God's work done.

Make sure kids bring their bibles to church!  We love seeing them reading their own copy of God's word.
