HEAL YOUR BACK PAIN - A WORKSHOP
with Brad Waites ~ 2 session times to choose from
Wednesday February 10th - 7:00pm - 9:30pm
and Thursday February 11th - 10:00am - 12:30pm

Pain in the sacroiliac joint and the lower back can range from irritating to debilitating.  In this workshop, learn the anatomy of lower back pain, and how to do specific stretches to release and relieve muscle spasms and misalignment of the SI joint and spine. Learn how changing your subconscious thoughts and feelings changes your health and what foods you can eat to reduce inflammation and pain.  Class will cover stretching, breath, nutrition, and yogic thoughts to apply in your day-to-day life so that you can hear what your body is trying to tell you.

You will learn:
  • Quick, easy and effective daily stretching routines to relieve pain
  • A routine for relief from an onset of acute symptoms (i.e. "my back is out")
  • Postural alignment, both standing and seated
  • How to make changes without reverting to surgery or pain medication.
If you have occasional or chronic low back pain, this workshop is for you.
All Levels, no yoga experience necessary

WHAT IS A LEAP YEAR?

leap year   is a year containing one additional day a dded to keep the  calendar year  synchronized with the  astronomical  or  seasonal year .
Because seasons and astronomical events do not repeat in a  whole number  of days, calendars that have the same number of days in each year drift over time with respect to the event that the year is supposed to track. By inserting  an additional day into the year, the drift can be corrected.
A year that is not a leap year is called a  common year .

The name "leap year" comes from the fact that while a fixed date in the Gregorian calendar normally advances one day of the week from one year to the next, the day of the week in a leap year will advance two days (from March onwards) due to the extra day added at the end of February (thus "leaping over" one of the days in the week). For example, Christmas fell on Tuesday in 2001, Wednesday in 2002, and Thursday in 2003 but then "leapt" over Friday to fall on a Saturday in 2004.
