SAI travels to Pakistan for Mental Health Conference
The conference, held in partnership with the Aman Foundation in Karachi, aimed to identify existing challenges, best practices, and innovations around mental health relief efforts in the wake of natural and man-made disasters. The conference was held on December 16, the one year anniversary of the Peshawar school attack.
Harvard students in South Asia this January
SAI has awarded grants to 20 students for the 2016 January session. Projects include studying special education in Pakistan, using data to understand Nepal's recovery efforts, and an internship  with NDTV in India.

Leaving footprints in the sand: Rajasthani artisans' struggle for survival
On a recent field visit, team members from SAI's Livelihood Creation project saw how Rajasthani  artisans, who preserve the region's cultural heritage, are today struggling to earn a livelihood and keep their craft alive.
