LIFE ElderCare, along with 250 other Meals on Wheels programs throughout the country, is actively recruiting new volunteers this month. You too can sign up today to volunteer with us and join HUNDREDS of dedicated volunteers who keep Meals on Wheels rolling in Fremont, Newark, and Union City.

 

We especially need volunteers this summer, as many of our regular volunteers take vacations. So if you've been thinking of volunteering for Meals on Wheels, now's a great time to try it out.

 

Join us any Monday - Friday, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. Choose a day that works for you, and how frequently you want to volunteer (for example, weekly, every other week, or monthly). 

 

It's easy to bring joy to a frail senior - one meal at a time!

Did you know...

We work with a dietitian to ensure the meals are varied and meet nutritional requirements.

 

We offer all kinds of meals to accommodate our clients' special needs, such as soft, mechanical soft, renal, puree -- and now gluten-free.

 

The menu choices reflect our community's multi-culturalism, and include tortillas, rice, and Asian cuisine.
