Ben's Buzz:

December 16, 2015

It's hard to believe but there is only a week left of school this year!     This morning parents, faculty, and members of the Student Council helped to tag and bag all the gifts and then proceeded to pack up "Santa's Sleigh." Every inch of Mr. Marcou's truck was overflowing with packages! Thank you to every single one of you that helped to support this incredible project. Through your efforts Christmas will be just a little bit brighter for 17 families.  This program was organized by Mrs. Stavely, Mrs. Gilberti and Mrs. Hagerty in conjunction with the Santa Foundation.  I honestly can't even begin to thank them enough for all their hard work once again this year.

You may recall that at the end of last year Mrs. DiMartino resigned her full time position as our Grade 7 & 8 Math Teacher so that she could be home with her two young sons.  We are thrilled to announce that she has returned to BFCCPS on a part time basis! Mrs. DiMartino is here each Wednesday as an added support to our Math Teachers.  You'll see Beth just below working with our 5th Grade Students as part of their new Grade 5 Wednesday math centers.  Welcome back Mrs. DiMartino!

Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week!

Sincerely,

Heather Zolnowski
Head of School

Thanks to the generous contribution of the BFCCPS PCO it will be offered at a reduced rate this year. A total of 15 students is needed in order to run the program, and we are a few students short at this time.  If you'd like more information on the program please contact Mrs. Kovacs, Ms. Brunelle or Mr. Perna for further details.
