State of the County's Health Described at Recent Forum

Representatives from Summit County Public Health and the County of Summit ADM Board shared information about the State of Summit County's health at a forum in early December. Over 100 people attended the Forum where both accomplishments and opportunities for improvements were shared.

The ADM Board Welcomes

Two New Members

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board recently welcomed 2 new members to the Board of Directors. Elizabeth A. England of Akron and Twinsburg resident Todd M. Ivan, MD were sworn in by Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio at the December Board meeting.

Meet ADM Board Associate Director of Clinical Services

Aimee R. Wade, MSW, LISW-S, OCPS II, Associate Director of Clinical Services

Congratulations to Aimee R. Wade, MSW, LISW-S, OCPS II, on her promotion to Associate Director of Clinical Services.

Aimee joined the ADM Board staff in 2010 as the Compliance, Prevention and Training Coordinator.

In her new role, along with other ADM staff, she will facilitate planning and monitoring of contract agencies' prevention, treatment and recovery support services and use data and research to inform evaluation and funding decisions. Read more here.

Congratulations to

Congratulations to Summit County Community Partnership on achieving the national Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America, or CADCA, Academy certification. Completing the National Coalition Academy is a major milestone for the coalitions.

CADCA is a non-profit organization that works to strengthen the capacity of community coalitions in their effort to create and maintain safe, healthy and drug-free communities.
