This newsletter is filled with the moments that make up the HaZamir experience: festivals, rehearsals, performances, parades, leadership training retreats and sometimes just simple visits of HaZa-Singers from one chapter to another. Some of you even visit us in our HaZamir National Office!

Our community is expanding so that current HaZamir Singers and Alumni are meeting each other in camps and on campuses around the country and in Israel. With 24 chapters in the U.S. and 5 chapters in Israel, the embrace that we all feel for one another in HaZamir is rippling back into the wider world. May this coming year bring us closer to a world that mirrors the unified and respectful community that we have forged in HaZamir!

Announcing Our 2014-2015

HaZamir Teen Leaders!

The HaZamir Teen Leadership Committee (TLC) consists of teen representatives from each HaZamir Chapter who are selected by a written and face-to-face interview process. HaZamir Teen Leaders receive ongoing training that they bring back to their local chapters as well as share with in our international community.

We are pleased to introduce a new leadership position this year. Nathaniel Bear of HaZamir Long Island will be serving as the HaZamir Teen Leader Liason. Nate will work with new HaZamir chapters that don't yet have Teen Leaders as well as with those chapters who don't yet have upper classmen who are eligible for these positions.

The HaZamir Teen Leadership Committee held its first overnight training retreat at Camp Ramah Nyack.
