MAIN GATE PROJECT BEGINS MONDAY
On Tuesday, February 2 the Association kicked off the Main Gate project with a Ground Breaking Ceremony attended by the Board, General Manager and Dalke & Sons contractors. Main Gate construction will begin on Monday, February 8. The project has an estimated 60 to 90 day timeline and the contractor will be phasing work to ensure there are as few interruptions as possible. The goal is to keep at least one entrance lane and one exit lane maintained at all times.


Come Check Out New Playground! 
The new playground at Holiday Harbor is complete! The Association celebrated the playground completion with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, February 4. The new playground features multiple climbing structures and slides.


 
Roadrunner Park Closed
Work started last week to replace the picnic pavilion at Roadrunner Park. The project is approximately 3 weeks away from being complete. Once complete the new picnic pavilion will have a more modern design and a durable tile roof. 

During construction, Roadrunner Park is closed. There are signs posted to notify residents of the park closure and work being done.

Steelhead Park Playground Work
With the new playground installation complete at Holiday Harbor, the Association has moved on to replacing the playground at Steelhead Park. The installation is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.   During construction, residents are asked to avoid the playground area at this park. Signs will be posted to notify residents of the work.

Watch Super Bowl 50 At The Lodge 
The Lodge will be hosting a 2016 Super Bowl Bash on Sunday, February 7 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The game will be playing in the bar area and will also be projected on the large screen in the Holiday Bay Room. There will be a Super Bowl unlimited buffet for $16 set up in the Holiday Bay Room. Drink specials include $2 draft beers and $7.50 select pitchers.

What Are Your Valentine's Plans This Year?

Hal Ketchum Valentine's Concert
There's still time to get tickets to the first concert of the year featuring country music legend Hal Ketchum. VIP Tickets are $55.00 per person and includes a private entrance with preferred seating closest to the stage and a separate VIP bar. General Admission Tickets are $30 per person. The concert will be on Saturday, February 13 at 7 p.m. at the Lodge. 


Next week tickets will be available for sale (by check or credit card) in the Member Services office as well. 

Romantic Evening At The Lighthouse
Enjoy a lavish four course dinner at the Lighthouse Restaurant. This special dinner will be offered the evening of Friday, February 12 through Sunday, February 14. The cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 951-244-6841, ext. 720 or online at www.canyonlakelighthouse.com.


New Sunday Brunch at The Lodge
A community favorite, the Sunday Brunch at the Lodge, just got even better! The new brunch starts this Sunday, February 7 and offers guests an even larger array of delicious breakfast and lunch favorites. The enhanced menu includes freshly cooked meats delivered to your table, an omelet bar, breakfast pastries, crab salad, and a Bloody Mary bar. 

The Sunday Brunch at the Lodge runs every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is $22 per adult (or $32 with unlimited champagne), $14.95 for children ages 8 to 13 and children 7 and younger are free with each paid adult. Intent To Run Packets Available Now
Members interested in running for the Board of Directors can pick up the Intent to Run packet located in the CLPOA Corporate Office. Intent to run packets must be completed and returned to the Corporate office no later than 3 p.m. on February 19, 2016. 

Two of the five seats on the board are up for election on May 12, 2016. The two year terms of Douglas Gordon, and David Eilers will expire in May 2016
.

State of the Association Event
Join us at the Lodge for the CLPOA's first annual State of The Association on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 12 p.m. The Association's Board of Directors and General Manager will present 2015 achievements and project plans as we move into 2016.
