Kevin Fusco Appointed Acting President/CEO at Broward Health

The North Broward Hospital District Board of County Commissioners recently appointed Kevin Fusco as acting President/CEO of Broward Health (BH). Fusco has worked at BH for more than 30 years where he most recently served as Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.

"It's a great honor to assume this leadership role during a difficult time of transition," Fusco said. "As our system continues to mourn the loss of Dr. El Sanadi, I'm committed to providing direction, support and guidance to the entire Broward Health family as we remain focused on carrying out his vision of providing quality patient care."

Fusco has been instrumental in Broward Health operations over the past three decades. He started his career in 1985 as a nuclear medicine technologist at Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC) and later served as Regional Manager of Radiology at Broward Health North (BHN) where he played a pivotal role in obtaining ACR accreditation for the nuclear medicine department, the first hospital-based program in Florida to achieve that distinction.
