Colorado WASH Symposium
March 1-2, 2016

The WASH Symposium is an annual student-run event designed to provide a platform for sharing and expanding knowledge in the field of water, sanitation, and hygiene in the context of development. The symposium brings together leaders and WASH practitioners in social enterprises, the private sector, NGOs, academia, and development agencies. The event includes many speakers and panel discussions on relevant topics. Registration
is free, but space is limited, so sign up now to guarantee yourself a spot.

Colorado Renewable Energy Society Presentations

The CRES-Boulder County chapter hosts monthly meetings to engage and educate the community on topics ranging from climate change and the environment to clean energy technology and local supportive legislation. Student Voices at CU: What Racial and Ethnic Inclusion Means for Our Campus

68th Annual Conference on World Affairs

The Conference on World Affairs is a conference on "everything conceivable" with speakers from all over the world. The
participants
for this years events have now been announced and include a World Bank economist, founders and directors of many international NGOs, climate experts, writers, performers, and experts on many important issues. All events are free and open to the public, and students have priority.

Colorado International Development M&E Lunch Club

The recurring "Colorado International Development M&E Lunch Club" meetings will be held once a month with this being the inaugural lunch meet-up. This initial meeting will be in the form of a brown bag lunch to get to know one another and then at future meet ups, people are welcome to come and share about monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools and insights. GHC's Global Water Challenge (Volunteers needed)
Students from Denver and Aurora Public Schools are learning about water and sanitation and already preparing for this year's Spring Water Challenge.

Climate Reality Project Internship
The Climate Reality Project (CRP) works to empower a global cultural movement demanding immediate action using cutting-edge advertising and communication. Engineering for Developing Communities Summer Program

Mekelle, Ethiopia
Technion International will be hosting a summer program, "
Engineering for Developing Communities." The course is led by the Engineers Without Borders Technion Chapter, and will be taught this year in Mekelle, Ethiopia in cooperation with Mekelle University.
The course is open to any undergraduate or graduate students from any university in the world.
This unique program provides a hands-on, real life learning experience for those interested in making a difference in the way engineering is practiced globally regarding community development. Students are challenged to approach problems with innovative and critical thinking, and are provided with multi-disciplinary tools to address a wide range of engineering and development challenges in a sustainable and holistic way. The Water Institute at UNC is now accepting
abstracts and
side event proposals for
Water and Health: Where Science Meets Policy. Abstracts for both poster and verbal presentations may be submitted online through April 29.
Abstracts and proposals should relate to one of this year's conference themes:
System strengthening;
WaSH;
Reaching the unserved where they are;
WaSH disaster management: Mitigation, preparation, response and recovery;
Domestic WaSH in high-income countries.
