Autumn In The Air
Driving up to Portland yesterday, the long awaited, welcome mists hovering low over parched summer fields were both a blessing and inspiration ~

bone stiff brittle field
opens Her mouth to receive
unexpected rain
***
deep satisfaction
ripples through Her gold-straw fur
drops of living grace

COMMISSIONS

Each time I enter into the creation 
of a  new commission, I am surprised by the magic journey that unfolds 
when I weave my artistic style with another persons vision. 

My recent commission was to recreate one of my personal favorite works, 'Mabuddha of Passion'.  Here is what Sequoia had to say about  her new painting gracing her altar:
