After
much investigation, I have decided to offer this new service. It
is not really a straightener ... rather a smoothing &
conditioning treatment.
Think
of it as a "super deluxe" blow-dry. It requires about 90 minutes,
but it's effects last for nearly 4 months.

Assistant
 During my years as a hairdresser, I have had many
assistants, and most have not spent enough time with me, to
gain enough foundation to build a successful career. Without
doubt, Michelle is one of my very favorite, and recently, we
celebrated a full year together! Wow ... can you believe it! She
continues to put enthusiasm into her work, and make our clients
feel comfortable and welcome.
She has a wonderful spirit,
and will definitely go far in our industry! Last week, she also
celebrated her 20th birthday. Happy Birthday,
Michelle!!

Return of Short
Hair?
Although I am not ready to say that a big style change is upon
us, it has been a long time since there was this much interest in
shorter, more dramatic styles.
Jessica Stroup, Agyness Deyn, Carrie Mulligan, Halle Barry,
Mia Wasikowska and Emma Watson ... are just a few in the news
recently.

I
hope this email finds you well, and persevering, during these
challenging times. Sometime has past since I sent out my
last eBulletin ... I decided it was proper to start anew. Also, I
thought I'd use my original address list, which was started several
years ago. Many of you I see on a regular basis, but some ...
well, we've not seen each other in a while.
Many
new things are happening ...
I'm
offering a new service, the "Brazilian Blowout", which should
become an immediate favorite with many clients, because of the
amazing way it transforms the hair ... making it easier to style,
and looking its very best.
Also,
in the news ... it is hard not to notice the number of young
models, actresses and singers, who have "cropped" their hair! I've
been predicting this for some time ... but is it really here?
We'll see, as the indicators are still not pointing towards a
significant shift in fashion, but it is difficult to ignore the
message. For some young personalities, it is now time to break with
the past.

Emma
Watson Goes Short
Harry
Potter's Hermione decides it's time for a big
change!
Now
that the "Harry Potter" series has finished filming, Emma Watson,
the young actress who has become famous playing Hermione, knew she
needed a fresh look to propel her career into the
future.
Wow!! She didn't choose the cautious approach at all.
Jumping in with both feet, she decided to completely break out of
the mold, with a startling, fresh and exciting new look, which
would symbolize a new beginning, as a grown-up actress. As amazing
as the opportunity was, for her to play Hermione, in the "Harry
Potter" series, she does not want that image stalking her career,
as she is now looking for new challenges.
She had her eyes on the upcoming role of Lisbeth Salander in
"Girl With the Dragon Tattoo", which was recently in the process of
screen tests. Among the actresses who were lining up for this
amazingly complex part were Carrie Mulligan, Natalie Portman,
Kristen Scott and Ellen Page.
By the way ... Jessica Stroup (Erin in "90210"), Janet
Jackson, Agyness Deyn (Vogue model), Halle Barry and Mia Wasikowska
(Alice in "Alice in Wonderland") have all cut their hair super
short. Has the trend started to change away from really long hair?
Hmmmm .......

For the quickest, easiest results, holding the session in the
salon is the best choice ... however, working "on location" is
sometimes the only possibility, and does offers more artistic
